The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed regarding the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This sassa status is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The service point established for intervention ordeals a high inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes status sassa it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a SRD service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to allow the servicing of all consumers and increase entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
